Adam Hussain

Founder

Adam’s completed his accredited legal consultants Practical Legal Training at a firm in Gold Coast, Australia. He had founded Adam Prudens Law three years prior to this. The initiative grew into a globally recognised law firm, assisting with commercial and corporate law and civil disputes. Adam successfully represented cases involving planning permission, insurance matters, and human rights issues. He has forged partnerships with Universities and Colleges in Australia and New Zealand, offering UK students opportunities to study abroad. He authors the monthly APL newsletter, which keeps hundreds of subscribers informed about reforming areas of law.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. He studied his Master of Laws (LLM) in International Dispute Resolution at King’s College and is a prospective doctoral candidate for a Ph.D in Law (Legal Science) at Royal Holloway – University of .

Prior to qualification, Adam handled a varied caseload, managing over 150 cases. His work with legal consultants ranged from supporting commercial tenants and examining lease conditions to investigating public liability claims for children injured in schools. Notably, Adam independently resolved a high-profile commercial dispute against Facebook. One of his most significant cases was his role in representing a group action for fifteen clients, successfully taking up a case against the local council. The case resulted in a six-figure settlement and was widely recognised in national news, earning Adam a reputation for his dedication to supporting vulnerable individuals.

While completing his law degree at Bond University in Australia, Adam worked during a year-long period at the Pro-Bono Bond Law Clinic. Here, he supported the growth of start-up businesses in the Gold Coast, advising on matters related to equipment purchase, finance, and leasing. His role also involved conducting audits to ensure compliance with Queensland Law, further honing his legal and regulatory expertise.

Adam led a life-changing project in Cape Town, South Africa, where he founded and human rights charity. His work involved travelling to provide free legal support to domestic violence survivors and juvenile offenders, ensuring they received the aid they desperately needed. Adam also educated other charities and vulnerable groups about relevant laws and safe community spaces, while leading counselling and emotional support workshops. He delivered educational talks across schools in Cape Town and chaired activities for over 3,500 children in school assemblies and community centres.

He completed numerous mini-pupillages in chambers, working closely with barristers and attending court to gain exposure to a variety of legal matters. He assisted in high-stakes cases involving clinical negligence, commercial disputes, and even private prosecutions for serious offences such as rape and domestic violence. These experiences provided Adam with a well-rounded understanding of both the practical and theoretical aspects of law.

Finally, Adam holds a Private Pilot Licence, allowing him to command single-engine piston aircraft.

Elias is a partner at Adam Prudens Law and the founder of Ghanem Law Firm. With over 25 years of experience from Dubai to Beirut, he specialises in international arbitration, corporate law, banking, and insurance law. His leadership and legal expertise make him a top choice for clients seeking precise legal solutions.

Throughout his career, Elias has made significant media appearances, speaking at international conferences and being interviewed on prominent television and radio programmes. His insights on international arbitration and human rights have been featured on platforms such as OTV and Tele Lumiere, showcasing his influence in legal discussions.

Elias's work has earned him several prestigious awards, including recognition from the University of , World Bank, and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. His reputation as the best corporate lawyer in Lebanon has been cemented by various honours and accolades, reflecting his excellence and dedication to the field.

His academic background is equally impressive, holding a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Business Law and various postgraduate qualifications from the University of . Elias also holds certificates in international arbitration and other specialised areas of law, further solidifying his expertise.

Professionally, Elias has held numerous key positions, including being an official receiver in bankruptcy for the Ministry of Justice and serving on the executive board of the Lebanese International Arbitration Center. His involvement in shaping international arbitration policies in Lebanon highlights his role in advancing the legal system.
